Thunder Talks 2008

November 20, 2008

(Event occurs in past, see below)

Thunder Talks are like Lightning Talks, except without a gong, bell, or timer. Talks should be planned for 5-10 minutes, (5-15 slides, though slides are optional), but this is not enforced by Mighty Thor.

A few ideas for topics:

  • something cool you are working on
  • a neat module/project you found
  • a module/code you wish someone would write
  • something that irritates you

We are looking for 4+ volunteers, please sign up below (non-binding). If you know what you are going to talk about, then please indicate.

  • fishbot - Duelling Eventloops
  • elbie - conquering the world with perl
  • abez - implementing a lispy perl or a perlish lisp or perlisp
  • arguile (?)
  • rm (?) - I'm thunderstruck

Update: Talks Occurred! Great Success!
